Bishop Dr. Timothy Demetrius Smith | Senior Pastor

I count it all joy, as we celebrate another successfully cross over from year to year. We are  "Working Together in Unity" and our God receives all the glory for the marvelous things He has done!

 

The Apostle Paul stated; Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13, 14). GLFT, we will press to honor God's word and be the messengers of Deliverance, and Salvation through God's love. God has give this church His vision and we are prepared to carry out this assignment with authority and power. 

In 2018-19 we will be praying and instructing on righteous living through the word of God. We're believing God to meet our spiritual, mental, physical, and financial challenges concerning:

 

  • Marriage (Committed To God and Spouse)

  • Singles (Saved and Celibate)

  • Youth (Saving The Millenniums) 

  • Evangelism (The Great Commission) 

 

As we preparing to execute the assignment God has given to this church we must remember that we are His servants; Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. (Psalms 100:3)

 

We have a calling and a gift to share the word of God to those whom need saving and assurances of His salvation but we must be on one accord to get this work done. 2018-19 are the years of our preparation in establishing a strong foundation for this ministry and the works we have vowed and committed to keeping. With this in mind, I must tell you that "effective ministry is a ministry that can minister without strife, confusion, or division.

 

Accomplishing goals and objectives set before us, that we may receive the rewards promised to us because of our faithfulness". GLFT we will achieve this and every mission God has for us and we shall see His salvation. I believe within my faith that this will be a year of tremendous blessings and increase and I'm excited to be apart of this great move of God. I know that you are ready, so let go Saints, let's move with God!
